This Week at MMS- 10.26.26

We are nearing the end of the first quarter already!! One of the challenges in secondary schools is the opportunities for families to monitor what their child is actually doing for school work.

Students can get the work they are doing on Google Classroom. They have their login for this. There is a parent side, but it sends out a weekly summary, not access to the upcoming work. It has not proven to be particularly useful.

For families, the best opportunity is to monitor Skyward Family Access. This is the place where you can view your child's grades, how they are doing on individual assignments, and even check to see if they have been tardy to classes. We recommend checking this weekly to monitor your child's progress so you know if they are falling behind or if they need to focus on something specific.

If you need assistance accessing Skyward, please contact our secretaries!

If you have questions or need assistance for your child, please do not hesitate to reach out and ask for help! For future planning, please use the calendar feature of ParentSquare or visit our website.
