This Week's Events

As we navigate these last three weeks of the school year, we want to make sure students take the opportunity to showcase their best by getting their work turned in and staying focused on school while they are here! If your child needs any assistance in finishing the year, please reach out to their teachers or their counselor!

Mon., 5.25- No School

Tues., 5.26-
Chess Club and Homework Center- after school until 3:15
Orchestra Concert, 6:00 PM in the MPAC

Wed., 5.27- Early Release
Homework Center after school until 2:15

Thurs., 5.28-
Homework Center, Art Club, and Marine Biology Club meet after school until 3:15
Morgan Parent Group, 6:30 PM, Staff Room

Friday, 5.29
Board Game Club after school until 3:15

End of Year Testing

Students will be taking their final MAP test for the school year in math and ELA. It can feel counterintuitive to take another test after we just finished up the state testing, but this test really does help us look at individual students and see how they are doing on their own journey. The test will typically take up to two class periods.

Once the tests wrap up, if you would like to know your child's end of year progress, please reach out to their teacher for results!

We also have a few students who still need to participate in the make-up testing for the State Assessments. We are doing our best to minimize the impact to the rest of their day!

The kids have really handled the testing well throughout this year. They have taken them seriously and done good work. It can feel like a lot, but I want to really make sure you know that we do use the results. :)
